But really, we know many other coup...Thanks, Neil! But really, we know many other couples our age or older who take much more challenging hikes, both in terms of length and elevation gain. We just poke along at around two miles an hour (often less), taking lots of pictures, plodding up and down the hills. No technical climbing, no backpacking, no "death marches," and always back to the trailer in plenty of time for refreshments and dinner. Not exactly epic adventure, but we enjoy it a lot! And I can't believe what condition you and Felice must be in. Most people, myself included, would have trouble breathing at those altitudes, let alone hiking those distances with those inclines.
